On July 2nd, organized by the University Laboratory Research Committee of Jiangsu Higher Education Society, a delegation of over 20 people from multiple universities in Jiangsu Province, led by Professor Wang Jigang, Deputy Director of the Laboratory and Equipment Management Office of Southeast University, came to our university for a visit and research. Wang Dongming, Director of the Environment, Safety and Health Department, and teachers from relevant departments attended the symposium.
Director Wang Dongming extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the ten-year development history of ShanghaiTech University and the laboratory EHS management system. Assistant Director Li Ruiqing introduced the progress of laboratory safety management in our university. Both sides also exchanged views and discussed the process management of newly established teaching and research laboratories, especially the safety conditions/environmental construction of laboratories, as well as the experience in laboratory safety and environmental protection management.
After the meeting, the delegation visited our university's teaching and research laboratories as well as some public facility areas.
