In the laboratory, fume hoods are the primary engineering control devices for protecting laboratory personnel when using toxic, harmful, volatile chemicals, or conducting hazardous experiments. The correct use of fume hoods directly affects the safety of laboratory personnel, and improper operation can lead to various problems, endangering the health of laboratory personnel and the environment.
The Environmental Health and Safety Department will conduct a training session on the safe use of laboratory fume hoods. The details are as follows:
