3. The purchase and use of potentially hazardous experimental materials must be accompanied by a relevant risk assessment document, which serves as a prerequisite for approval. When applying for a scientific research project and requesting laboratory safety approval proof from the school, an experimental project risk assessment document must be provided as the basis for judgement.
