University-wide Environmental Health and Safety Committee was formed and had its first meeting on January 18, 2022. More than 20 professors and EHS experts, safety management personnel, and the EHS department attended the meeting. Vice President Ding Hao attended the meeting and gave an important speech.
Principal Ding pointed out the importance of laboratory safety management, and hoped that EHS experts from schools and institutes could give full play to their professional advantages to jointly promote overall EHS management, especially laboratory safety management. The experts discussed characteristics of various laboratories with different research subjects, and also gave suggestions to university’s EHS management.
Director Wang Dongming of the Environmental Health and Safety Department expressed his gratitude to each expert for their participation. He hoped and had confidence that, with the leadership of Principal Ding and the support of the experts, university-wide EHS management would achieve further development and progress. In the end, Principal Ding wished everyone a happy and prosperous New Year!
