Laboratory safety is the foundation for ensuring laboratory functions. As an important part of laboratory safety, gas safety is particularly important for the safety management of a laboratory. According to ShanghaiTech University’s Gas Cylinder Safety Management, through safety inspections and daily supervision, a gas cylinder safety management mechanism has been gradually established. A communication mechanism with gas suppliers has been established via this meeting, management requirements have been clarified, and the safety of gas purchase and use in laboratories has been further strengthened to guarantee the safe use of gas by all students and staff in campus.
